What Faith Can Do

He extends to me
a book of constellations
and I say,
Now I can learn
something more of value
of what has been
endless in this life.

The stars have always
known what it is to
want, have always felt
what it means to have faith
and now, watching from their
distant perch, they know
another element and follow
my realization of contentment.
